I'm just gonna go ahead and say it.. for some time now, I have had a real hard time accepting that the sun and moon are like 93 million miles away (not sure bout da Moon, but I believe I've seen it said the Sun is like 93m). I don't even think the Sun or Moon are outside of firmament if I am being honest, let alone millions of miles away. You can see the surface of the moon (when its big in the sky) with a 35mm digital camera with like 12-16x zoom (don't quote me on this, I never graduated past the Polaroid) so how can that be like millions of miles away. I just don't get i and I can't be along in this?
