His Promises Are Not Empty Words

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

God’s Word is His bond. What He says, He will do. He is never late, and He never fails.

Now, we may grow impatient, but He arrives just on time. His promises are not empty words written just to fill the pages of Scripture. They are, in fact, the living declarations of a faithful God. I have learned that His timing is perfect, even when it does not match mine.

So when you call out to Him, start trusting that He is already at work even before your prayer finishes leaving your lips. He will come through because He cannot lie. Wait on Him today.

And know that He will keep His Word to you. His promises can be trusted.

Character Still Matters

My father used to tell me that a man is only as good as his word. He used to say, “If a man’s word can’t be trusted, then the man himself cannot be trusted.” Those words ring true because they echo the very heart of God.

His Word defines who He is. If we say we follow Him, then our words should carry weight as well. Keep your promises. Let your yes be yes, and let your no be no, because character despite what society tries to tell us still matters.

Integrity is not outdated. It is the reflection of who God is in us. Live in such a way that your word is true. Your word can be trusted. Your word has integrity. And your word, above all else, brings honor to the name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and your Savior.

Talk to God about this today. Say, “Lord, make me a person of truth.”

When I think about my father’s life, I see what it means to live for a cause that is greater than yourself. He had dreams of being an architect, a builder, an inventor, but he laid it all down in World War II as a volunteer to fight for the freedom of others.

His sacrifice reminds me of Christ, who left heaven to redeem those who could not save themselves. There is an enemy who still seeks to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Yet God has given you and me words of life and the power to stand in prayer.

Gratitude Is The Doorway To Worship

You know, you and I do not fully appreciate the cross at times. We speak of it, we sing of it, yet we rarely fully grasp the cost. Christ took our sin, our shame, our separation, and bore it all so that we could live.

And even when we fail to appreciate that love, He keeps saving, He keeps restoring, and He keeps forgiving. His love never stops reaching for us. Thank God that Jesus does not grow tired of giving. Thank God that His mercy is still new every morning.

Take a moment today to truly thank Him for the cross, to remember what He endured so that you and I could live free. Gratitude is, in fact, the true doorway to worship. My brother, my sister, take time today to thank Jesus Christ for what He has done for you.

Take time to worship. Take time to talk to Him about these things.

The Journey To Confidence

The journey to confidence in God is not always easy. It passes through valleys of sorrow, through seasons of difficulty, but it’s in those very places that God writes a song on your heart.

This is not a song learned from lyrics on a page. It’s a song actually written by God Himself, a song that remains even when the ground beneath you gives way. A song that carries you when your own thoughts falter, but His thoughts alone are keeping you steady.

And when that confidence in God takes root, it’s no longer just something you feel. It’s something that people around you start to see. They see the way you stand firm, the way you walk with assurance, the way your life sings of God’s faithfulness, even without words.

Trust today that He’s writing His song within you, a song that will carry you through every season and be a testimony to those around you.

Keep Giving Anyway

True humility is not weakness. It is strength under the control of love. My father returned from the war to find his own dreams gone, but then he began to save for mine. He wanted me to have what he had lost, and he never stopped giving, even when I didn’t appreciate it or understand it.

That’s the heart of Christ, who poured Himself out so that you and I might live. When others fail to appreciate your love, keep giving anyway. Love that expects nothing in return, in its action, reflects the very heart of God.

True worship isn’t just a song but it’s a life so surrendered to God that His presence radiates from within us. It’s a confidence deeper than words, a trust that exudes from our very being.

When the world is shaken, you remain steady, not governed by fear, circumstance, or the voices of darkness, but governed by the unchanging promises of God. This is the confidence that God gives to His people, a faith so immovable that others can literally see it, a worship so deep that it silences fear.

Stand firm today. Trust fully. Let your life be a song that draws others to Jesus Christ.

Psalm 139:23 says these powerful words: “Search me, O God, and know my heart.”

This serves as a powerful reminder to constantly seek God’s insight. It’s crucial not to assume that our actions, thoughts, or directions in life are always right. Often, self-reflection may lead to a misleading sense of confidence, making it easy to overlook the deeper issues within our own hearts.

Instead, it’s essential to invite God to search our hearts and examine our ways. We should ask Him to reveal anything in us that needs to change, and then guide us toward the everlasting path, recognizing that the principles we teach to others also apply to ourselves.

This recognition is vital. Invite the Holy Spirit to search your heart and your life today, ensuring that you and I remain aligned with His truth.

Worship Without Words

Psalm 40:2–3 “He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.”

David knew that he couldn’t escape the situation he was in on his own. Whether it was depression, fear, or failure, he simply cried out and when he did, God lifted him. He set him on solid ground and gave him a new future.

Then God put a new song in his mouth, a song not just heard, but seen. When you and I have confidence in God, it becomes a worship that doesn’t even need words. It’s something that flows from our very being.

Our lives become a testimony. Walk in that song today so that others may see and believe.

Maybe Today Is The Day

Maybe today is the day that something stirs in your heart. You might not understand it all, but something deep inside is telling you that there’s more to life and that there’s a God who sees you, knows you, and loves you.

The message of Jesus is this: He came into the world to make a way for us to be right with God. We’ve all done wrong things you and I are not proud of and those things separate us from the life God wants for us.

But Jesus gave His life to pay for those things that separate us from God. He died so that we could be forgiven and start anew with a clean heart, a new life, and a fresh purpose.

You don’t need fancy words just be honest. If you believe this is true in your heart, you can tell Jesus you want to start with Him today. He will hear you. He will respond.

Just say, “Jesus, forgive me. Save me. I want You as my Savior.”

Ask God to Guard Your Heart

I want to remind you today that we shouldn’t play games with God or start thinking that our thoughts are better than His. His words bring light, and in Christ we have the promise of becoming a new creation.

Let’s walk according to His thoughts, not our own. Ask Him today for wisdom with the right intentions, trusting that God, as He says, will give it to you generously. Let the light within you remain bright and not turn to darkness. Ask God today to guard your heart and to keep you alive in Him. Ask Him to search you, as David prayed, and reveal anything within you that needs to change.

This generation needs to see His Church shining brightly again. Ask Him to deliver you from compromise and help you love Him with all your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength.

There's Something Deep Inside You

You were crafted by God. There’s something deep inside of you, long before it ever reaches your mind that knows this truth. You came from God, and you belong to God. You were created for a relationship with Him.

That’s what happened to the thief on the cross. In a moment of agony and clarity, his heart awakened, and he said, “God, I want You as Lord of my life.” He didn’t know where that road was going to lead; he just knew he wanted Jesus. And Jesus answered, “Today you will be with Me in paradise.”

The same is true for you. You may not fully understand what it means today to follow Christ, but if you say yes to Him, He’ll lead you into a life more abundant than you can even imagine.

Say this from your heart today: “Jesus, remember me, and be Lord of my life.” He will come. He will forgive you.

You Won't Be The Same

When you give your heart to Jesus, I promise you that you won’t be the same. It may sound hard to believe, but something very real changes inside of you. Jesus Christ isn’t looking for perfection, just honesty.

He already knows your struggles. He just wants your heart. When I gave my life to Him, I found myself weeping for days. It wasn’t sadness but it was freedom. Don’t be afraid to feel something. That is what you were made for.

Jesus Christ is opening the door to you for something better: eternal life with Him and a new reason to live here and now while you are in this world. The Bible says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I can attest to you today that this is true. That’s what God will do for you. Talk to Him today. “Jesus, forgive me.”

We Don't Have To Be Perfect

When we came to Christ, our captivity was taken captive. We were forgiven of our sin and given God’s Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gave us giftings that make you and me supernatural beings.

The third person of God, the Holy Spirit Himself, is now living inside of us. Therefore, there’s no limit to what God can do through us. The only limits are the limits we choose to put upon Him. When you and I begin to walk in faith, we won’t allow our difficulties and struggles to hinder us from being what we’re called to be and going where we’re called to go.

You and I don’t have to wait to be perfect to be used by God, because it’s never been about us. It’s all about Him. It’s about the power of the living God that enables us to do His will. As you and I trust God in our journey, He will give us what we need to obtain the victory all for His glory.

Open Your Eyes Today

In this world, we teach that God is omnipresent. That means He is everywhere all the time. His Holy Spirit whispers to us, always calling us back to Him whether we’re walking down the street or in places we shouldn’t be.

In a bar, a club, or even in a quiet moment, God’s Spirit is still there, reaching out. The evidence of God literally surrounds us. Every bird in flight, every sunrise and sunset declare His glory.

As Paul says in the book of Romans, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made… so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). The very heavens testify to the existence and reality of God.

One day, when you and I stand before Him, if we ask who He is, we will see that He has shown us His presence all along. I want to challenge you open your eyes today. Look around you. God’s presence is evident. He is everywhere.

There's No Greater Risk

Even the most vile of sinners lives in a world where God is still present where His mercy is still trying to reach, and His Spirit is still calling. But can you imagine waking up one day in a place where God is not?

A place where the cry of your voice carries no sound, where the darkness is so heavy it can be touched, where there is weeping, gnashing of teeth, and no end in sight. The conscience lives on there, remembering every opportunity we once had to receive Christ and rejected.

Some mock the cross of Christ, like the thieves did beside Jesus on the day He died for us. Others gamble with eternity, pushing aside truth for “some other time.” But there is no greater risk than hearing the gospel and walking away while you still have time to turn to God.

Don’t gamble with your soul today. If you can hear His voice, respond. Talk to Him.

God Is For Me

Welcome Home

I was speaking with a young man just last week. He had run out of gas. Oh, hallelujah. He’d run out of options, out of strength, out of money, out of work. He sat across from me, eyes weary and brokenhearted, telling me how miserable his life had become.

And when he looked at me for advice, I looked him in the eye and said, Welcome home. Thank God you’ve finally come to the end of yourself, because that’s where it begins. It’s not in strength that we come to God, but in surrender.

He came back to where it all started. For many years he had been a believer in salvation through Jesus Christ. He returned to the only source of life and hope and that is God Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Don’t despise the end of yourself. It’s the place where coming home begins. You’re in a good spot. If you feel hopeless today, just get up and start walking back to God. He will meet you on the way. He will love you, forgive you.

You know, today we live in a generation of liars, incivility, and moral confusion. We have entire towns now in America that have been declared emergency zones because of drug addiction.

It’s unbelievable what’s going on in this society. We are quickly degenerating into absolute decadence and confusion. However, God has called us to be a light in the middle of all this darkness and chaos.

God will use us to bring His name to reputation. He isn’t surprised by what’s going on around us. He already has a plan. That plan is to fill His people with the Holy Spirit so that you and I can be the voice in the wilderness that proclaims the goodness of our God.

We are the ones who are called to display the love of God even to our enemies. So let’s ask God to give us the grace to be the light that we should be in our time.

Lord Remember Me

Luke 23:42-43 And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

We’ve all missed the mark. Every one of us has fallen short of God’s perfect standard, His glory. None of us can stand before Him based on our own goodness or effort. But that’s when grace steps in.

At some point, maybe in a quiet moment, maybe in deep desperation you and I cried out like the thief on the cross once did: Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. The beauty is that He did, and He still does.

So don’t put your trust in your own goodness. Trust in His mercy. Say it again today from your heart: Lord, remember me.

Thank God for the mercy He has shown you and me. Embrace His grace today, and let it inspire you to extend that same mercy to those around you. Become a source of healing and hope in the lives of others who so desperately need it.
