Now round bales are selling for $180 and up! Itβs crazy! Ranchers cannot afford these prices for hay or feed. π’ β¦.but you can bet those βCorporate Ranchesβ are doing just fine. The family ranch will soon be forgotten, just like the family hardware stores and other small businesses that had to close their doors.

πππ Prayers for rain. We went through that last year, everything dried up, nothing grew.... it's hard to watch your work wither away. Husband spent a lot of time on craigslist looking for hay or going to the local livestock auction, they sell hay and straw here on Mondays.... not much to choose from, but we made it work.
The people through it all, some really raised their prices but on the bright side some kind hearts sold at reasonable prices, even called to see if we needed more.
