It's not my intention to bring the vibe down but this has been on my mind and I'm sure other's minds. Where are we going? I'm running out of reasons to continue and don't see much point in starting anything new. Feels like painting the walls on a house that's engulfed in flames.

Wicked lies growing, gnawing
Shackled in what they made
Waiting with the knowers, watching

Circles broken, sailed away
Veils and secrets burn but stay
Besides, the carpenter hammer lay
Shaken purpose, discarded clay

Hands cupped, cannot hold
So much tainted by souls sold
Untouched in here, lidded, boiling
Taut the sound of noose coiling

[The passage blocked out all the light
And demons entered in the night
This is a dark and lonely place
I fear I'm truly lost in space
The future doesn't seem so bright

Fruitful promise turning sour
Desperate for a seed, a flower
