🎭 Mira Sorvino earned an Oscar & Golden Globe
for MIGHTY APHRODITE, directed by Woody Allen
& produced by Harvey Weinstein..
She was among the first women to accuse Weinstein
of sexual harassment
& several directors have since admitted
to blacklisting her at Weinstein's request.
LORD OF THE RINGS director Peter Jackson admitted
he was warned not to work with her
because she was 'believed to be difficult.'
Sorvino said that reading Jackson’s tweet
admitting to blacklisting her & Ashley Judd
based on Weinstein’s influence was a surprise.
“It was like a thunderbolt.. I was like,
‘Oh, so it was really this malevolent hand
that changed the course of my life
& my professional horizons.’”
Weinstein was found guilty on charges of
first-degree criminal sexual act
& third-degree rape in 2020
& sentenced to 23 years in prison.

where does Peter Jackson fit in amonst the pedos of hollywood? i mean he was a broke failed small time director here in NZ for ever and then all of a sudden overnight he turned into our biggest success stories. 🤨🤨
