Pasta is no good for us because it’s made from semolina aka durum wheat which makes it both very inflammatory and has no nutritional value, which really just makes it straight sugar and a distant cousin to cocaine. Instead, get yourself chickpea pasta. It’s loaded with minerals like zinc and iron and selenium and has anti inflammatory properties.
And boiling the pasta removes all the anti nutrients that are found in legumes which makes all of its nutrients extremely bioavailable to us. Just make sure the brand you’re using only has one ingredient listed- chickpeas. It's does suck for my husband too :(
I'm going to look into other flours and pasta. I think the main thing is to get away from GMO wheat and corn especially. Even anything seedless try to avoid. So buy the watermelon with seeds and spit'em out :)
