I thought I would try to remove myself from the system by not paying my bills. It is working on property taxes. I guess they can't legally remove me from my home or sell any longer.
But, I didn't pay my water bill for two months to test it and today they showed up to shut it off. We're still in the system Anons.

your county will charge you interest on the property taxes owed. They know they'll eventually get their money so don't even bother alerting you to the fact.
