Try reducing the amount of sun light from all the windows. an inexpensive trick is cut sides off black plastic garbage bags. Unfold and flatten the plastic against the windows. Scotch tape easily holds the plastic in place along the window frame. cut to fit the window. when smooth and tight it looks and acts like like a tinted window.

It should help cool the house and if needed you can also add sunblocking curtains to fully reduce the sun’s heat. In the summer I keep the bedrooms’ curtains drawn all summer to prevent the upstairs from getting stuffy.

no shades on upper windows, that’s why I want 90% UV tint
