I find it interesting that Artaxerxes king of Persia, says this, Ezra 7:23
“Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven:
Well, Persians worshipped Zoroaster (Zarathrustra in ancient Persian)
So in essence, Zoroaster is the precursor to Judeo-Christian religion.
According to Pliny the Elder, there were two Zoroasters. The first lived thousands of years ago, while the second accompanied Xerxes I in the invasion of Greece in 480 BC...
and I submit they are the Magi (wise men from the East) that saw the star.
