Of course they are godless so their hubris is totally ignorant. God is Omnipotent, has all power and they have none. God will not permit them to create the race they intend. There will be no singularity, no eternal life in the natural world with machines. They’re trying to avoid the hell they deserve with these antics. They can’t out smart God.
