Yes! The only time I was able to see my kids when they were in public school other than them getting called to the office was when I subbed. And we lived in a small Texas town where everyone knew everyone.

i volunteered in tbe school library and they purposely would schedule me for any class to be in there except my daughter's. c2009

Sadly, that sounds on point. The best thing I ever done when it came to public school is pull my kids out.
