Hi! Good morning everyone. Can i get tips for managing PTSD? Im doing all the things, but mornings and nights are the worst. My therapist is pushing Lexapro, but my history with antidepressants is they dont work for me. i live in FL and have an MMJ card, but feel like it makes me more tearful. Any advice would be most welcome. i don't have a local support system and im really struggling. tia

It takes great courage to share your story!
After RT91 all I wanted to eat was salted, grass-fed butter. I thought this was so strange but it was the only thing I could stomach and it helped me relax. In hindsight, after studying the cholinergic system and the Vagus Nerve, I see why it was helping PTSD.
Getting my gut sorted out helped a great deal too as the critters were there for the stress hormones and the metals I was dumping and their excrement was only further mucking up my brain and nervous system. Detoxing metals (via sauna and binders) and using healthy fats to support the nerves while reducing sugars that fed the pathogens were a huge part of my healing.
There are many great suggestions here. Many do effect the Vagus Nerve which ultimately effects all of our organs, including the brain.

Sending you great LOVE on your journey of learning and healing.
