I think we can safely declare that we have exhausted all the easier options; a Rude Awakening is the only way left. Nobody can come back later to accuse us of having caused unnecessary alarm and distress.

Indeed yes Martin. Seems incomprehensible; have put it down to pace of life/EMFs/RFs/food/medicines etc but really boils down to receptiveness to mental conditioning (poss becos of all above).
