I (and many of my friends) are finding it hard to deal with issues of "morality under mind control". To what extent are others culpable for their wrong deeds when influenced by hypnosis, induced fear, linguistic programming, (and 100 other nasties)? If they are "transhumanised" with nanotech and genetic modification, do we still relate to them as we used to? Do we need to "forgive but separate" or "condemn yet engage"?

It's all so heartbreaking at one level, but I am learning detachment and acceptance of what is. There is so much uncertainty as to what is really going on that it's pointless tormenting yourself with matters that may not happen or are not your problem to face.
