Thank you so much for sharing this information.
Although CRISPR seems like a wonderful breakthrough if used ethically, this particular aspect of it is alarming as "any sequence might be requested into the site of the break:" 🤦♀️🤷♀️
"Taking it a step further, homology-directed repair can be used to insert any sequence that might be requested into the site of the break, thus allowing for inherent modifications in a simple and fast way."
