I semi jokingly told someone I was going to run for school board.. Their response "You don't have kids."
My response "I own 2 small businesses here and have a big investment in making sure these kids are educated. Most I see are irresponsible, lazy, uneducated, spoiled, and cannot do anything without Group Think... And beyond that I cannot afford to pay someone to figure out a problem using "new math".. I would say I have a vested interest to make sure your children are educated. And for that, you can thank me later when they do not come back home to live off of you later."
Well, I am pretty sure I did not win any votes, but I made them think!!!!
