One has to wonder if they were hoarding it all for their Annunaki masters - who basically want to use the gold for their own atmosphere.
I always wondered why the hell the Annunaki didn't just up sticks and find another damned planet to live on, after all they are incredibly long lived, have space travel, and like to think they are gods, instead they created us to mine for them... I can only imagine they like the routine.
