I have an on-and-off bf of 5 years. He sent me a message last night about collecting edible mushrooms from the forest (presumably to cook) after I said I might visit London soon. It's his autist way of expressing love by feeding others. (He's ill and on disability benefits; no budget for fancy stuff from shops.) I miss him a lot — am under-cuddled "up north".
You can't say this stuff on Gab without a torrent of abuse from rather judgemental religious types. It's sad, because there's a lack of grace, compassion, and WWG1WGA-ness. It pains me when Xn friends say I can "do better" when they don't really understand the person I love and why. The jabs have also poisoned our intimate relations with physical risk and longevity uncertainty.

To love and be loved is life's greatest gift. Almost three years on, in a long distance relationship, being apart now. Waiting to hold his hand again and be in his presence keeps me going and tears me apart at the same time.
