Milkweed was sprayed too, because it is a 'weed.'
It's a wonderful host plant for Monarch butterflies.
Monarchs lay eggs on the plant.
Caterpillar is born, feeds on the leaves, spins it's cocoon and turns into a butterfly....all on the same plant.
