When my son was born, I was a single mom up until he was 4 years old. We struggled for years. I remember calling to see if I could get him put on the toy drive lists, but in Virginia (90s) they either flat out denied you or said you had to request it a year in advance. He never got on any of the toy lists, but God worked everything out to where he had a nice Christmas every year & we were thankful for the blessings we received & helped others when we could.
