Most every member of the panel that authorized it agreed that it was inappropriate for most kids, and the risk from covid was less than the risk from any vax.
But... they felt soooo obligated to make it available for the very rare cases of very vulnerable children. "We can't deprive these vulnerable ones!!!"
There is no way they didn't KNOW it would be pushed to the lot. Their protestations were merely cover. I still hold them responsible.
It should have been limited to the specific subgroup where they felt it was necessary - which is just a few hundred at most.
