Wow. A real analysis of the Afghanistan withdrawal.
I'm still holding off on forming any firm opinions, in light of all the disinfo and dissembling I've seen, but this was the most solid discussion I've seen to date, by far.
Explains the situation in a way that is consistent with what pushed a Lt Colonel to throw away everything and begin to speak out. This is an outright betrayal of our own people and those we allied with.
The real question is - was this all done by incompetence, or at the behest of a foreign power, who are clearly aligned with the Taliban?
Too soon to decide, but it stinks of potential treason is what my instincts say.
There needs to be a real investigation!
