Interesting. Seems Ethiopia is fed up with the UN supporting the Marxist insurgents in Tigray province, if I am understanding the situation correctly.
I always ask myself if our foreign aid actually benefits these countries we intervene in, or if it props up corrupt governments who "cooperate" and let rich nations exploit natural resouces while the peoples receive no benefit. The US, UN, China, and others are not as benificent as we have been lead to believe.
This is one area where Trump's style was very enlightening. Fair dealing, clear terms, and non-interference in internal politics, except for declining to do business for mutual benefit with countries that did not treat their peoples according to humanitarian norms. But he didn't try to impose our values over their sovereignty...
