I don't care if you're 16 or 60...do not make the mistake of thinking social security is going to be around for even another decade. Charles Ponzi was the first person to "pull off" a pyramid scheme, making faulty guarantees to desperate and gullible people. Bernie Madoff made similar promises to his investors. Social Security is just another pyramid scheme and the coffers are running dry. Except this time, the criminal mastermind is...well, if anyone can give me a satisfactory answer to that question, that would be great. It certainly isn't watched by the SEC. And Congress continues to make cuts on the program.
