I have been taking Lysine for the past yeah and a half as a supplement, I am a nurse and my son and daughter-in-law were diagnosed last week, I was around both of them and have nothing, no symptoms at all.. I take 2000mg daily. I started taking it for the extra amino acids and its a natural collagen booster :)
