Honestly, at this point I fully support everyone who believes this to self administer Ivermectin. Go buy horse dewormer if you must.

What's the foundation of your beliefs about Ivermectin?

Do the slightest study and you'll discover it's on the WHO's 'most essential drugs', been used worldwide for parasite infestation in humans for decades and considered one of the safest drugs there is.

I don't have "beliefs" about drugs. I have beliefs about whether dogs are better than cats, because it's subjective. What a drug is good for or not is not something that is governed by beliefs, but by data.

Ivermectin is, as you correctly say, an antiparasitic and has been FDA approved for that specific use for a long time and is regarded as very safe in that regard.

What people propose here is to use this drug for a purpose it is not approved for, which is ridiculous given how much everyone cared so very much about the fact that the vaccine wasn't FDA approved, which it is now.

Also, much like any medication ever, dosage is a very important part of safely administering a drug, which is why how much of a drug is to be administered is part of any FDA approval. The people ingesting horse dewormer and others are often unknowingly overdosing on Ivermectin by a factor of 10 or more, causing severe side effects.

to confirm...the point you are making is that people are injesting large doses of ivermectin? correct?

the dose is available for administration by healthcare providers for humans at the correct dose. it is readily available and advised by the CDC to give to foreign immigrants. so is safe. the hospital which was believed to be dealing with “overdoses of ivermectin” issued a statement that this was not true!
