I will ask because others may hsve same question. What does brown zone mean? I ask because I live in that zone. I am five minutes from Camp LeJeune, 40 minutes from Cherry Point, about 15 minutes from New River Air Station and Camp Geiger. Three hours west of me is Fort Bragg and about two hours north is Seymour Johnson AFB. Plus outlying landing fields scattered all over the area. Im concerned of my location. Is it good or bad to be surrounded for hours by military bases. Also there is a US port one hour from my house in Morehead City. I work in that city.
