My heart breaks for children...but we cannot forget that there are so many elderly suffering alone. My 77 year old Mom cries almost every time we talk on the phone. She frequently says she's ready to die and cannot live this way.

I agree , this has been awful for the elderly who after years of hard work and being ripped off deserve better .
