I haven't seen the moon at all in the past 5 days ... since I've made it a priority to see it. True, some clouds from the Florida hurricane ... but these are distinct photos.

Good photos, very distinct image.
Don't you find it odd that we never see the backside of the moon. It seems to be held in place showing only one side. Odd since the earth rotates in its orbit, why not the moon?

Very strange, indeed. I went to school in Romania and we were actually taught that the moon rotates around its axis, too, just like the earth. We were taught a lot of things that aren’t told in American schools and vice versa.

No, I haven’t, but I will, thank you very much for the info. I always look for new things to learn. I just watched this video last night and I found it interesting, it also brought back memories of earthquakes started in the area.
