I would caution everyone to not be too excited about election news. There are battles behind the scenes that are bound to get ugly.
If I were in negotiations with the nasty ETs, well, I would say "bugger off." We made deals with them on this planet before, and that always ended badly. Abusers don't change.
We need to stay on alert, and prepare for anything, IMHO.
