Knowing that Gates is now the largest owner of Farmland in the US is the most disturbing news...oh, and China is scooping up farmland at breakneck speed. They are buying up Farms at 3x's their worth. There is a plan and it's unfolding before our eyes right now.

We have a farm with enough acreage for a decent beef cattle operation. Just had an appraisal done by a retired vet who told us acreage is pastures is not worth more than marshland. property value went down because of this. Is this an attempt to squeeze small farmers into devaluing our land so that China can eat us from the inside.

sounds like you need a different appraiser. i used to be in real estate. always get a few different appraisals. that sounds like a bunch of junk. pasture land us very valuable. property with stumps to be pulled is difficult n less valuable..if you are a farmer.
