The cover story for why the royal amrs were removed from the gates of buckingham palace was that it was getting renovated while the queen was at her somer cottage due to covid. The true story is that she has been stripped of her title and can no longer wear the royal crown or clothes when sitting on her thrown. She must perform her duties in civilian clothes until her death/execution. Do a read on the rules of royal attire and protocol. Very interesting.
