I am a retired sailor. My opinion based on my time in the Navy. This was a deliberate grounding of the ship. Whether the pilot, the Captain or an Unknown factor did this. To shut down the economy or expose a criminal activity, not sure which or if both! Truth will be known when the black box (and yes that ship has one) is taking out and reviewed.
