We are vessels (the body) that houses our avatar. Jesus has often been refered to as an avatar as well. Reason I mention it is people are not careful of what they fill their vessel with. It is easier for a demon to inhabit a vessel in which the people aren't vigilant about or in a spiritual good place. That is why we hear so much about the elite litterally being inhabited by evil entities.
