I remember Adam Sessler on a show on the old G4 Network ranting about a politician who wanted to ban the sale of violent video games, saying that such legislation would be an attack on free speech. Initially I agreed with Sessler, but upon further reflection I realize video game violence is another form of obscenity. There's an Illinois state representative, a Democrat in Chicago, who wants to enact similar legislation in the state. I don't know if the bill will gain any traction, but we'll see.
