Where I live, EVERY grocery store will exercise their right to refuse service if you don't wear one. They are VERY afraid of heavy-handed penalties they face for not requiring compliance.
There is no option to patronize businesses that don't enforce the mandate. You wear the mask or you place an order for "curbside" or delivery... which is not really an option for those who eat a lot of fresh produce and meat; grocery-order-pickers don't know (or care!) anything about selecting for quality and freshness. You're lucky if they bring you stuff that isn't obviously decaying.
