I have heard that many women, including my own mother were told right after giving birth that they weren't able to breast feed.They had no milk.Were they denying babies the benefits of collostrum intentionally, or just ignorant? Thankfully I had a midwife for all three of my children's births, and didn't listen to their bullshit!

what makes me mad is they prey upon the fact that people were told to trust these professional, they knew what was right....having that drilled into your head for generations has done some serious damage.
