working in the garden today - actually everyday when the weather is nice. We are getting a puppy on Sunday, so I need to fix the gate so she can't get out. Our neighbors have 7 pit bulls and feed the local cats. Because of all the dogs, the cats spend the day in our yard and terrorize the chickens. Yesterday I told the chickens that I was getting them a puppy. I hope soon she will keep the cats at bay. But initially she will just be cute.
