The vaccine is produced in genetically modified human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293 cells
The expression cassette for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein fused to the tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) leader sequence uses a modified human cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter and a BOVINE growth hormone polyadenylation sequence.
Whilst a single dose induced antigen-specific antibody and T cells responses, a booster immunisation enhanced antibody responses, particularly in pigs.
T cells WOULD respond when injecting a FOREIGN cocktail into you!
