Well in the third dimension it is. In it's essence it is flat. Like the great mind said, it is a realm. From whichever dimension you look at it, it will correspond to it

Ok but realm doesnt = flat earth. I dont see flat earth anywhere in the quote.

Agreed, but look at the bigger picture. What i'm trying to say is that it's shape is relative to the viewpoint. Being that it is a realm, it cannot be confined in a shape, much less a 3D one like sphere. Because it's not an object, it has no boundaries so it cannot be spherical in it's essence, it can only appear to be from a certain viewpoint. The simplest representation of it you could create would be a circular plain (even though boundless) + the firmament which would result in something similar to this,
hence the "flat earthers" even though the truth is beyond flat or round
