Sayonara PBS. NPR is soon to follow. This brings up some interesting points. For decades, these "public media outlets" received government funding...our tax money. They claimed to be non-biased but that is not true. They slanted to the left and pushed agendas. Which means they are not serving the greater public interest. They also claim that the majority of Americans agree with their content. If that's the case, why didn't they pivot to a private business model based on donations, subscriptions, etc. If they had the audience, then that should have been a no brainer. Maybe they didn't have the audience. Things to think about.
