RedPanda, you are absolutely amazing with your graphics talent. I also think you might be psychic. π
It just so happens, when I was a much younger & stronger a Fella, a long time ago, I was a mountaineer and a climbing guide...
in the Himalayas.
I spent an entire climbing season (several months) on Mount Everest (Sagarmatha).
Didn't go to the Summit,
but that's why I'm still here to be Anon.
A BIG AMAZING ADVENTURE, nonetheless.
I made forever friendships with the Sherpas who I spent time there with. Such wonderful, beautiful People.
Not many People get to lay out & see the night sky from above 20,000ft. Countless stars as far and wide as the eye can see. Not much atmosphere up there to hide them. β¨
My lungs actually worked better up there.
It's a very Spiritual Place, too.
BTW, we old climbers have a saying...
"There are Bold Climbers,
and there are Old Climbers,
but there are no Old, Bold Climbers."
How's that for Collective Consciousness?
Pretty amazing you created that. π€

ol-π€ you sure are full of surprises! Love the photo. Although I have never climbed mountains as high as 20,000ft, I have summitted 15 different 14,000 footers here in Colorado. I also participated in the Pikes Peak ascent 4 times which is a competitive run up to the 14,000 summit. π So I can understand what an enormous feat it must have been to hike up 20,000 feet of Mt. Everest! Wow! If you ever come to visit Colorado you would think these mountains are just hills to climb! ππ€£π

That's wonderful views and wonderful that you enjoy Colorado's beauty, Carol.
SO GORGEOUS THEM MOUNTAINS! π
Mount Everest grew 4 feet in altitude since I was there.
That should tell ya somethin'. ππ€£π

I wonder what is inside Mt Everest
Rumor has it π
Lizards are hiding all kinds of stuff inside mountains around the world
2026 might just share this information
Sending love π

There are SPIRITS that reside in those tall mountains, Arba, as everywhere, just as QTSR says, but I felt nothing malevolent about them.
One has to pay them GREAT RESPECT, however, and the Sherpas know all about it.
Those that didn't pay RESPECT (not I), usually received some level of unfortunate Karma, even if just getting pinned down by heavy snowstorm.
My Spirit in being there is that I was A GUEST, and should always act accordingly to receive Welcome.
I never had any unfortunate experiences there at all.
It was all really quite magical.
