The silver white forest was darkening at a pace towards evening. Silence stood with heavy snowfall and I traveled a path now enveloped with the sparkle of snow.

Not a sound could be heard as I climbed the mountain pass towards the lighted castle in the rocky distance. My heart sighed at the memory of a place I hadn't been in a long while.

Would I be greeted upon my arrival, or would they be meeting me on my snowy path?

Careful now, not to slide, slip, or struggle with the rocks, as I caught my breath. I sensed I was being watched. And my senses took hold of me, letting my intuition sense out where this energy was coming from. Was it beast or was it friend?
