You have kind and hopeful heart. Only if she/he ask for God's help will there be true healing.
I am retired from 40+ yrs in Juvenile court. It takes many many tries to get out of their baggage , including addictions. All the while the littles get sold, abused, neglected, addicted, malnourished..on and on. And we are just tapping the horrors of the hhs/foster care system
Thank God this baby was saved.
And having a child is not a right, it is a gift/privilege from God. I agree with our President ..you harm a child and out you go!

i was an OB nurse in a small hospital who had a prenatal care center which cared for these kids who were pregnant. it probably had more patients than each OB Docs.. it was very successful even tho all medicare patients. kids really came around over the 6 months plus we saw them. percentage of future healing to change the lifestyle. probably less than 30% and we saw repeats but not that often. objectively these kids ( from 14 to 18 ish} and some welfare moms truly were receptive to the kindness and caring they were given. always respectful to us all. we saw them from the pregnancy test to the 6 week check up as we took turns in the clinic. best experience of my life.. there were 2 social workers who were also very successful in their jobs also. helped with clothes etc etc
