We’re told architecture evolved slowly.
But after the 1800s, the entire world’s building style changed almost overnight.
Copper domes, spires, star forts, precise stonework — gone by the early 1900s.

Replaced with brick boxes and steel.

Fashion doesn’t explain it.
Cost doesn’t either.
Ask why.

Been into this for a wee bit and it looks like 1700 approx. Then just before the Civil War and we were next. They've been at this for awhile.
Mudflood evidence from the 1800's is everywhere if you look. We are Blessed to have made it this far...👆
