I planted some in my backyard 2 years ago. They say once you have it, you'll never get rid of it. This was the video I watched that inspired me to buy some.

The comfrey flowers are pretty. One day I want to make skin ointment as shown in the video.

I want to learn more about the old ways. I am wokring on a better greenhouse, and a better garden each year to do better! 😎 I was able to grow some amaranth and okra, both of which I wasn't able to before. I am busy learning all I can to grow better and with better yields!!!!

So much to learn from the way things used to be done.

My Grandmother showed me some ways, but I think I was too young. I do not recall what she did teach me, but maybe one day, I can recall it!!! My mom put me in summer camp with plant identification. Which helped me over the years. I was always eaten up by mosquitoes, told that my blood was too sweet, but I did learn to use Jewelweed salve with the flowers. Also learned of chicory root and Queen Ann's Lace with the drop of blood in center (the story of it) and that it's roots were wild carrot. No red flower in the center of it meant poisonous.

Lemon balm helps keep the mosquitos away, they hate the smell of lemon. Crush lemon balm leaves and rub on your skin... it smells so good too. Herbs tend to have more aroma if they are kept somewhat dry when growing.

TY!!! My blood is no longer sweet for them as I grew older, not sure why, but something changed. But this is Great to know!
