Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Yeshua. The very first Christians were Jews. They did as Yeshua did, said & taught who was also a Jew, the most Jewish Jew to walk the Earth & taught from the old testament. He followed the commandments & taught to do so. Constantine made it illegal to Judaize anything & punishable by death. He didn't accept Christianity, he paganized it with pagan celebrations. This is the main reason most Jews don't know Yeshua, but neither do most Catholics. God created the feast days to point to Yeshua but they were looking for an earthly king to save them from the Roman occupation, just like most are looking for an earthly king to save them. Only Yeshua Saves

One thing I have learned, is that reading the Bible with an understanding of the historical context in mind is imperative. Also who the writer is like Paul for instance, and who the audience is as well. If it is Jesus' words, understanding that He is speaking to Jewish people under the law and He Himself is a Jewish man living under the law. Jesus often berated the Jewish leaders for imposing more laws upon the people and yet not upholding them for themselves. He knew He came to expose all the corruption and what He had to do to usher in the New Covenant of Grace. He had to be the spotless sacrificial Lamb. He had to be born sinless to be that Sacrificial Lamb. So His birth is to be celebrated IMO with that in mind. In an attitude of gratitude for the New Covenant of Grace in which we live. 😙

I believe, It is best understood folliwing what Jesus Himself did and taught. The Feast Days were created by God to point to Jesus. He is the fulfillment of prophecy as are the feast days the perfect fulfillment of His first and second coming. The church does not teach that.bit should.

Watch and Listen to the video. The truth will set you free. I celebrate yeshua and the Cross, not Christ-mass. Truth matters. God created the Holy feast days to point to Jesus, not the pagan holidays. I can assure you, my post is not worthless, as you might think & say. Not my words, Gods Word.

He was born on Feast of Tabnercles. You want to celebrate the Birth of Jesus, that is the day to celebrate it. He did Himself. It will also fulfill the millenial kingdom when He returns to tabernacle with us. It will be required.

In his end-time prophecy, Zechariah reveals that the Feast of Tabernacles will be re-instituted in the Millennial Kingdom. All nations will be required to annually gather & pay their respects to the Lord in Jerusalem as the source of all blessing.

“Then it will be that all the nations who have come against Jerusalem & survived will go up each year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, & to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles”

If I am understanding correctly, one of the biggest differences Jesus introduced was abandoning the 'eye for an eye' idea, in favor of 'turn the other cheek' ie forgiving your enemy.

Jews in that time saw this as a problem as they had been turned into vassals of Rome.

A Roman governor, (although, compared to Islam, Rome was a fairly beneficial governance - they did not stop Jews worshipping as they pleased [but they had to also acknowledge Roman gods, and Ceaser as divine], and, they brought many civilized things with them- roads, public sanitation, water supply, public security, etc. that they taxed to provide.

The younger Jews wanted autonomy, and eye for an eye was more how they saw things, so Jesus was seen as a 'radical', a Roman sympathizer by them.

When your enemy seeks to ERADICATE you, 'turn the other cheek' is the fast lane to extinction. So the Jewish attitude to islam is very understandable, and, Christians need to see that, if they are not to become extinct to

The command is to not murder. You are free to kill if your life or that of your love ones is threatened. Yeshua is coming back to wipe out the world of unbelievers and pagan worshippers. The Jews didn't need Roman governance, just Yeshua. So do the Catholics, the Jewish Yeshua, not the pagan, made made image of Jesus.
