Vigilant Savior,
I'm trying desperately to keep my eyes on You! Waves of adversity are washing over me, and I feel tempted to give up. As my circumstances consume more and more of my attention, I'm afraid I will lose sight of You. But Your Word assures me that You are continually with me, holding me by my right hand. Moreover, I know that You're fully aware of my situation, and You will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear.

You've been showing me that worrying about tomorrow not only displeases You but also drains my energy. I admit that I've been trying to carry tomorrow's burdens today, and I'm staggering under the heavy load. I realize that if I keep this up, I'll eventually fall flat on my face. I'm grateful that You are God my Savior, who daily bears my burdens.
Help me live within the boundaries of Today[--keeping my focus on Your Presence in the present. Please keep reminding me that the present is where I can walk close to You--leaning on You for strength and guidance.
