Why begin with 1960? 1950 is a more accurate starting point. TV was new and limited, not much ‘programming’ yet and parents limited watching. We were outside most of the time and knew everyone on our street.

No people born in the 50's....1 hour a week tv at the most...we talked to our neighbors in our lawn or their lawn....we cooked & baked everything from scratch...small grocery stores...mailman would bring mail to the house if we had children in the service. just to name a few
