Today we celebrate the veterans who served our nation - both here and abroad. My father was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne during WWII. He was wounded in Sicily losing the use of his left hand by shrapnel fire on a mountain ledge. My brother was a Marine in the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam in 1965-1966. He returned home only to end up dying in the VA Hospital from the effect of Agent Orange. I served in the Navy as aircrew member in VR59 DFW and VR 55 Alameda. Service to our great Nation is one of the greatest privileges of my lifetime. Happy Veterans to all our veterans and their familes.
